Will Microsoft acquire Yahoo?

After failing to acquire Yahoo! in 2008, this time Microsoft had a great opportunity to acquire Yahoo. As we know, Yahoo! is currently the target of several company related to sales issues.


Microsoft became one of the most potential investors to buy shares of Yahoo!. This is confirmed by the closeness of their relationship since 2009. In 2009, Microsoft and Yahoo! have announced collaboration in the search business (Bing integration), online advertising, and more.

In recent years, the value of Yahoo! was never evolve, therefore, some executives have to do something for the continuity of business company. In addition, Goldman Sachs and Allen & Co. as financial adviser to Yahoo! is preparing financial information to prospective strategic investors. Unfortunately, until the news was revealed, Yahoo and Microsoft officials are reluctant to give comment.

Another company who want to acquire Yahoo! is a giant china ecommerce, Alibaba. Alibaba CEO Jack Ma has expressed interest in Yahoo.

Seems to be interesting to see the battle of two giants in the fight over Yahoo. Let's wait to know who will win the battle.
