Eee Pad Transformer Prime, the First Tablet with Quad-Core Processors

Asus will soon release their latest tablet, Eee Pad Transformer Prime which is the successor of the Eee Pad Transformer. Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be the fisrt tablet that use the latest NVidia mobile processor, Tegra 3. Tegra 3 is the first mobile processor that use quad-core processor.
Tegra 3 will makes The use of the performance of transformer prime increased 3 times compared to Tegra 2 tablets. In addition, battery life will also increase, Asus claims that transformer prime battery life is 12 hours. Transformer prime has a touch screen measuring 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800 megapixels and Super IPS+ technology. Another feature is the 8-megapixel camera on the back and 1.2-megapixel camera on the front.
The tablet is scheduled to be released and sold worldwide on december 2011, with prices ranging from $499 with 32 GB of storage space and $599 with 64GB of storage space. Unfortunately, these tablets are still using the Android operating system 3.2 Honeycomb and not using the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich. However, according to Asus, the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwiches will be available shortly.
